As this year, 2023, comes to a close I have so much to be thankful for. My health, my goats, my small business and of course YOU!! This year has had some closings and some openings like all years but as you get older you seem to reflect more.
Yellow Rose Farm Soap Co continues the mission to provide great, quality products and as a result, I try to produce more and more for you. One thing that will not change is my commitment to quality.
I continue to use my goat milk from my healthy, happy, and award winning herd of Nigerian Dwarf goats. If you ever have a question about any product, just ask. I am very picky where I purchase my ingredients and hope you are aware of that. A lot of people are now "Making Goat Milk Soap". They either buy milk from someone else, use powdered milk, or purchase a pre-made melt and pour soap base. Don't be fooled by an inferior product that is a few $$ cheaper.
My goat herd is doing very well. I have had several of my older goats pass this year, to old age (around 13-16 years). Those have hit me pretty hard as those were some of the last ones my mom helped me to birth. My Mom has been gone for 12 years and it is still a hole. But I know that she is proud of me and the goats and what I have turned this business into.
One thing I heard this year that has stuck with me is "I am not intimidating. You are intimidated. I cannot help how you feel." I think as we get older, sometimes we can come off to others as bossy, but do not mean too. Well I am hear to say that I have earned every "bossy" moment. LOL
Thank you thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your continued support and hears to 2024!! See you soon, I hope!! Shannon

I'm sorry to hear of your losses - it's clear you love your goats! I have been so very happy with your products and their ethos, and will continue to be a loyal customer.
