I thought, since it is right before kidding season, I would talk about some of my favorite products for you to consider this year. I have used these products for years and thought you might like to hear a little about them from me and several longtime customers.
For those that don't know me, Hi! I am Shannon the owner/creator of Yellow Rose Farm Soap Co. I live and breathe the farm life with my herd of around 50 goats, 30 chickens, 5 dogs, 4 cats, 2 guineas, and 1 lone pea hen(female peacock). To support my goats, I make bath and body products with goat milk from my herd of healthy, happy, and award winning Nigerian Dwarf goats and also have an all natural line of bath and body products. I started with goats in 1997, soap in 2003, and full time dairy goat farmer and bath and body product producer since 2013.
My philosophy is " no fluff" meaning, I don't add anything to my products that does not have a purpose. All the essential oils I use in my care products are there for a reason. Most of the reasons are listed on the individual product pages. If you run into me at a festival I am more than happy to discuss any of my products with you. All the recipes are my own creations using unique formulations, and I have customers test the products before releasing them for sale to make any adjustments needed.

The first product I wanted to highlight is my deodorant. I make a Regular strength and an Extra Strength (Farmhand). This deodorant works really well without aluminum or baking soda. I have been making this product for over 10 years and I have been using it for all 10 years. I came out with the Farmhand a few years after the regular because, well I work on a farm, and I can get real stinky; just ask my husband...lol. I don't use baking soda or some others try to disguise it by saying Sodium Bicarbonate because I have had a reaction to it before. The first attempt at deodorant, I used the baking soda and I burned my pits something awful. I could not put down my arms for days. Lessons learned.
I applaud the people that can use baking soda and them not having a reaction but Why take the chance? The active ingredients in mine are Magnesium Hydroxide: helps with sweating and detoxifies your sweat, Zinc Oxide: helps with keeping pits dry, Essential oils of Tea Tree: anti-bacterial & anti-fungal, Rosemary: anti-bacterial & anti-fungal and Lavender: soothing to the skin.
Why not try a stick today?
