About Yellow Rose Farm..

My mom, Kay James, and I started the farm in Grandview, Texas in 1997. We had always had horses growing up and enjoyed a wonderful show career participating in halter, western pleasure, and barrel racing. However, after my mom's bout with cancer, she was no longer able to handle the horses like she wished, so we sold them. After about 6 months, we looked at each other and said "We are bored, and need some animals". My mom went out and found these wonderful, kind and curious Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats, and the rest well, I am still writing the rest.

My mom passed away in 2011, but I am continuing with the goats and much more! I have been extremely lucky to have had some really awesome mentors through the years and my hope is to mentor people in dairy goats as well.
