Since I have 2 Great Pyrenees, what has worked for me was to apply the diluted formula onto an absorbant rag (I have been using strips from my hubbys old cotton socks). I wipe my dogs face, ears, back and legs with the formula, then tie the strip to her collar. I check her every night when she comes in, but have only had to re-apply every 2-3 days.
