This shampoo is goat milk based, from our own herd of healthy and happy Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats! I add only organic, non-gmo, and sustainably harvested base oils to our raw goat milk and let it cure for at least two weeks, until the pH is around 5.5 to 6.0. (It is judged on a scale between 0 and 14. Anything between 0 and 6.9 is acidic, 7 is neutral, and anything between 7.1 and 14 is alkaline.) Human hair and scalp oil, sebum, has a pH balance of between 4.5 and 5.5.
 
We then add our own wildcrafted Stinging Nettle Extract (SNE) derived from our own farm. SNE has been used extensively in Europe to help with hair growth. It also has natural anti-fungal, and anti-bacterial properties. I formulate our shampoo and conditioners with PURE Peppermint essential oil. Peppermint has been shown to help with blood circulation, and helps to remove debris from hair follicles; i.e. promoting hair growth. Peppermint not only does this but mimicks sebum (hair oil) production so your scalp is not pushing oil into your follicles clogging them.
 
My products do not contain sulfates, parabens, or mineral oil which have been proven to damage hair follicles and the scalp. Sulfates and parabens strip hair of their essential nutrients and of moisture. Sulfates are responsible for most of the lather in shampoo so while you won’t get as much bubbles with our shampoo, you will get clean hair that is not stripped or dry. You will find that you do not need to wash your hair as often either.
 
We do NOT particpate in ANY Animal Testing. 8 ounce bottle of super awesomeness!!! Gently shake bottle before use.

Citrus Mint Oily hair? Super oily hair? No problem for this shampoo. We combined several citrus essential oils together for the extra clarifying you need. There is a combination of Lime, Grapefruit, Tangerine, Lemon, and Bergamot! These essential oils along with the Peppermint essential oil help to gently remove all the oil and residue from your hair and scalp. The specifically formulated citrus essential oil blend helps to remove the dirt and extra sebum from the scalp and hair. After just a few washings you will notice a huge difference in the texture of your hair and that you are not an "oil slick". Don't forget the conditioner...if you think you need it...
Mintea A great addition especially for the summer months or anytime to help with scalp issues. Our wonderful goat milk based, sulfate free shampoo with the extra power of PURE Tea Tree snd Peppermint essential oils. Peppermint helps to open up hair follicles so the shampoo can gently remove excess oil, sebum, and dirt. Tea tree swoops in and helps remove bacteria, dirt and treats excess sebum production. Great for gardeners, or anyone that sweats in their head!
